Race Club

Welcome to Race Club.

As the name describes it's for kids that want to race, whether it be Cyclocross or Circuit. Coached by three coaches with considerable experience in many aspects of racing including cat 1 road, the club is dedicated for children aged between 5 and 14 years of age.

Cycle Stars host coaching sessions at Cheltenham Race Course, we also provide special hill climbing coaching sessions at places  like Prescott Hill Climb.

Closed-Circuit - Cheltenham Race Course Best Mates enclosure - 5.00 - 6.00pm - Bikes must be fitted with lights.

Cyclocross - Bishops Cleeve PrimaryAcademy Saturday 1.30 - 2.30pm

Hill Climb - Prescott Hill Climb - TBA held at the famous hill climb owned by Bugatti, here riders learn the disciplines of hill climbing and descents.

Cycle Stars are affiliated to BCF British Cycling, BSCA British Schools Cycling Association and CTT Cycle Time Trial Association

How much is it? Coaching sessions are £5 races range between £2 and £8 there are concessions available, please enquire by emailing cyclestars001@gmail.com

What equpment do I need? A right sized bike and CE standard helmet. The bike doesn't have to be expensive, just in good working order. Tyre choice is more important and your coach can advice you. As riders become more competitive then a lightweight bike is a clear advantage and there are different models depending on the discipline chosen.
