SCHOOL SPORTS
Cycle Stars are actively promoting Cycle Sport in Schools, working closely with the British Schools Cycling Association.
We provide coaching in school PE lessons and after school clubs.
British Cycling qualified coaches, hold a minimum level 1 certificate, first aid trained, safeguarding and are DBS cleared. Cycle Stars hold public liability insurance.

Sorry there is no parking available so please use on road parking. Access through pedestrian gate onto field.
Toilets are available, located to the hall entrance on the left handsidfe of school.
Check in time from 4pm, racing starts at 4.30pm - Riders only allowed on track to warm up one their race number is displayed. All riders to go in the same direction as directed by the race marshal. No stopping on the track and no access to pedestrians.
There will be 5 heats and the format is a scratch race (Racers start at the same time) 5 laps of a Grass Track.
Riders will line up on the start line, they will then have a sighting lap, this is where they do one circuit of the track to get in the right gear and postion themselves for the races. Points are awarded to all finishers that aren't lapped.
The winning team wil be the school with the most awarded points and will each be awarded a medal and a school trophy. All other riders will receive a Race Certificate and of course all children will receive a pack of sweets.
On the last lap a bell will ring, at the finish line there will be a chequered flag. The race ends on the chequered flag no matter what lap the rider is on. Heats are as follows:
